Trojan.Zlob

Hello ~

I'm new to the forum and I hope someone can help me. I have Norton's 360 from 2008, which expires in Aug. 2009. I recently found that the virus Trojan.zlob is quarantined. How do I completely remove the virus from my computer?

Hello ~

I'm new to the forum and I hope someone can help me. I have Norton's 360 from 2008, which expires in Aug. 2009. I recently found that the virus Trojan.zlob is quarantined. How do I completely remove the virus from my computer?

But if uninstall Norton's I won't have any protection at all. Is there no way to remove the virus without uninstalling Norton's 360?

I want the virus off of my computer. I'm fearful that it's not completely removed & still lingering on my computer.

Thanks for your feedback.

Quarantine is a special, protected area of Norton AntiVirus. Files in Quarantine cannot interact with the rest of your system. If files in the Quarantine are infected, then the virus, worm, or Trojan cannot spread. This means that if an infected file is part of a legitimate software program, then that software program will not have access to the quarantined file. So, you are totally safe. If you suspect that your computer is infected with Trojan.Zlob, you can try the removal instructions from the following Symantec Security Response Article:
