What is this error?

See Help and Support??? My subscription is still valid but I cannot find support for this error. This ID 65535 is not in the archives. I have used Norton for years but I'm now considering changing since I can't CONTACT anyone about this without PAYING?
Event Viewer only shows this error.
I have been having trouble booting up, hangs after Windows splashscreen.
OS repair did not show errors.
XP SP2
IE ver 6.0 something
NIS 2009
Can anyone help?
