trouble installing product after subscription renewal

My daughter's subscription on her laptop expired.  I went out there the day before it expired, and updated my credit card info, hoping it would automatically renew.  I guess I did not have the auto renewal on.  Anyway, the subscription expired.  I had her go out there on her computer today, and she purchased the 2012 renewal for internet security.  It shows up in our product history, but doesn't show up on the  product page, which still shows as expired.  We are trying to do this over the phone between she and I, she is away at college, and I have dial up and can't talk to her on the phone while I try to check things from here.  The same way, she can get online and talk on her cell phone, but I can't see what she is trying to do.  How do we get up subscription to show up as renewed, and get her computer protected again.  She says the laptop still says she is not protected.
