I'm running internet security v15.0.0.60.
When I try to run a "Quick Scan" I am being brought to the "Help and Support" window for Norton Internet Security. Also, the "Home" tab lists my computer as being "at risk" for virus and spyware - but when I click on it & select to fix it; I am being brought to the "help and support" window again.
In both cases, when I select to "start a support session"; the progress bar moves along & then says everythign completed - but the same behavior stated above remains.
I did have some nasty malware (smart virus and friends); which i used malwarebytes to remove (and appears to be gone) & I just want to make sure that norton is still firing as expected (to keep those viruses away). I had started in safe mode and did a full scan for norton & didn't seem to find anything... Also - task manager doesn't want to start up (which has me concerend that there is still something hanging around).
Any thoughts?
