How do I turn off these pop-up ads from Norton 360 for Windows advertising Norton products and services that appear every few days on my Windows desktop above the clock? I have already turned Norton's "Special Offer Notification" setting OFF (screenshot below), but these ads keep coming. I might be amused that a product designed to stop spam, among other things, is spamming me -- but I am not amused.
I'm about ready to give up on norton altogether at this point. I seem to be forever clicking 'no thanks' to no avail. So sick of the constant spamming for more money for add-ons. Isn't n360 meant to protect our computers comprehensively already?
Special Offer Notifications Off does not stop all Norton pop-ups.
I know! That's why I posted this. So how do I stop these annoying spam ads for Norton? Is this a bug, or is this Norton being guilty of doing one of the very things their product is supposed to prevent?
It's not a bug. It is by design that now seems to be controlled by Norton's marketing department. And they have decided that they are not going to allow us to stop these pop ups.
Special Offer Notifications Off does not stop all Norton pop-ups.

1) remove Norton
2) Norton being guilty
