Turning off File Insight in 360 v5

Hello, I develop scientific software so create lots of executables that run on my PC. I've long since turned Sonar off as it would stop them running and delete them. Under subscription, I now upgrade to version 5.0 and something just as painful analyzes any exe I try to run (I cannot attach a screenshot unfortunately). So my question is, how can I turn this real-time "file insight" thing off? It is preventing me working right now, and it looks like my only option might be a complete uninstall of Norton (which is annoying as I paid for this - that said, I bought Norton ghost and that never worked either).

 

It states: "Threat type: Insight Network Threat".

 

Perhaps 360 version 6 will be so "secure" it won't let you turn on your PC?

 

Thanks to the community in advance if they can help me rollback the options to something that lets me use my PC again.

Hi,

 

there's a function by the Antivirus settings: Scan exclusions. You need to add the folder(s) to the Auto-Protect and Scan Exclusions as well. This way non of these files and folders will be deleted / quarantined again.
