Why does my VPN connection constantly turn off, maybe once a day? THis happens on my Acer Laptop (windows 10) and on my android phone, (Galaxy S10).

Sorry but that is not true. You can have both the standalone and Norton 360 VPN installed at the same time.
Of course you can't use them both at the same time. I am using the standalone version until Norton gets around to fixing the 360 VPN auto start function which they told me a year ago would be done in the next update. Never happened, still waiting....
FWIW @Gen2Bruin....You can't install both Norton's standalone VPN and Norton 360 with built in VPN on the same device.
Wow, why would you design VPN to disconnect? Just so you can charge more to add the standalone version?
Hello Robert. If you are using the Norton 360 product and its built-in VPN yes!! You have to initiate the VPN each time you are going to use it. It doesn't load with the operating system as the stand alone version does. When you restart the computer or allow the computer to hibernate the VPN will also drop its connection. These are defaults in the VPN by design.
Cheers
