Tried Twice to install NS.
Used Proper Removal Tools for NS and all previous avs.
NS failed to process the initial update. Big Red Error Banner.
Both installs were from a NS Installer I downloaded from my account today.
I have seen this error one time before.
Don't really care. I will after the new toolbar is released.
Quite disappointed with Norton's not having started work on the FF 41 Toolbar earlier. They had months of advanced notice of the change.
I have wasted more time installing, uninstalling, repairing damage from other Security Suites that, unlike NS, caused serious issues.
I have never seen a year like this when so many Security Suites are causing failures on my PC, and others PCs as well. I didn't ask for a Windows 10. I assume that's whats causing all the problems with Security publishers having to tweak their programs for W 10. I'm sticking with W 8.1, after Windows 10 Upgrade first day of release totally borked one of my PCs.
So I'm back to my 6 month free license of Bitdefender IS 2016, which I know I will have to uninstall within days because of serious disruptive issues issue. I have already installed it and reinstalled it several times. KIS 2016 was the biggest disaster that only System Restore was able to repair. Uninstalled Panda IS 2016 after reading that, although it's a great A/V and malicious download blocker, it's firewall is like toilet paper.
Norton does it right but got caught flat footed on FF 41.
I am devoted FF user.
