Two Norton accounts; need to condense to one

I have two (2) Norton 360 accounts; one w/Lifelock, etc. to cover the majority of the home computers/phones and one ‘plain’ Norton 360 w/3 devices that ended up on my HP laptop. (at the time, Norton didn’t have a bundle that could cover more than 5 computers. The point here is, at the end of the year and everything is up for renewal, I’d like to transfer coverage of my laptop to my Norton/Lifelock account (10 licenses, only 5 used) and drop the 3-device account. As a decades-long Norton user, it would seem to be easiest to delete the laptop’s 3 device installation and re-install Norton Lifelock with that product/key #. Would that work, or is there a better way? Or can I change the product key on the laptop to my ‘big’ Norton/Lifelock account. Apologies for the long post. Be w

Issue abstract:

Detailed description:

25.10.10528 (build 25.10.10528.959), 25.10.9955.0

Win 10 Pro, latest, fully patched/updated, AMD 6300, 32G RAM, 1T SSD

No error message, just want to condense accounts.

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:

What you suggest will work. But when you do the reinstall, you can do it from your Norton Account that will install a preactivated copy of your 360. No need to look for and enter a product key.

Also be sure you go into your Norton Account > My subscriptions and turn off the Automatic Renewal for the older subscription.

Thank you for the reply. That was my reasoning but wanted to check with the community. I’m retired from it all these days and don’t trust everything I remember from my high-tech days . Of course I’ll go to my primary computer with 5 licenses available and ‘install on other device’. I have already turned off ‘auto-renewal’ on my laptop in anticipation of this consolidation. These days, I’m kind of a ‘suspenders and belt’ kind of guy and appreciate your patience with my dumb question. Will update when successful. Thanks again and be well.

Update: Everything went as expected/planned. Consolidated all local hardwear to a single account.
Thanks again! DD

You may have heard this before, but the only dumb question is the one you don’t ask.

Glad you got everything sorted.
