Two strange .exe files on two separate machines

After deleting some legit programs from my Downloads folder on two separate systems, Norton popped up File Insight about a strange .exe.  They were different files on each system.

I have not downloaded these files and my gut feeling is that it is something to do with Norton's detection when my legit programs were deleted.  In any case, I have since 'Bleached" my free space on both systems, so probably won't be able to locate these files now.

Well, it's happened again.

Yesterday I downloaded Google Earth and saved it to my Downloads folder before installing.  Today I deleted GE from the Downloads folder and Norton Insight popped up with the following -

$RP3GOLA.PNG

Filename: $RP3G0LA.exe
Full Path: c:\$Recycle.Bin\S-1-5-21-717764227-3804364009-1175255147-1000\$RP3G0LA.exe
