Uninstall Norton via Add or Remove programs. Then go to your Norton Account at http://mynortonaccount.com
Sign in using your email id and password. You can see the product that you purchased under Order Hostory. If it is Norton 360, click Download next to it and then start the download. In this case, the product Key is automatically inserted and you do not need to activate it separately.
Hi, Robert,
Did you install your new Norton 360, or are you just trying to apply your new subscription to your old Norton 360? If the latter, then Yaso's solution will be best, as it will spare you from all the uninstall/reinstall by doing exactly what you seek to do.
If you tried to install your new version, however, copying the new files over the old files may have damaged your installation in a way that's preventing you from activating it; in that case, Vineeth's solution will do the trick--although you'll want to export any cards/credentials you may have set up in Identity Safe to your Desktop first, and run the Norton Removal Tool after you've uninstalled in Add/Remove Programs,to sweep up the "debris" Windows can leave behind.

There should be two keys. The Utilities key should start with U. NIS starts with J. Check the email again for separate keys.
