I have 3 PC's on my home network. Up until about a week ago, the backups have been working fine. Yesterday I noticed that the number of files backed up and the amount of data backed up has decreased greatly. I couldn't get into the Restore area to look around. I tried reinstalling a new copy of NOBU and removing the workstation from the website's control panel. When I try to add more sources for backup, I receive a "You can only browse for files and folders when you're on that computer" message. I'm on that computer and I can't add sources!
All that is getting backed up now is the default C:\Users folder. I have file and folder exception rules which I'm unable to enter. When the backup is running, I'm not seeing the blue icon with the right pointing arrows as I'm used to seeing.
Everything was running fine on all my PCs until about a week ago. I suspect an update was rolled out that has really messed up my backups. I've experienced a lot of the same problems that others have been writing about over the last week. Now my critical files are unprotected using your product. Maybe a reset and purge of my backup files and a clean reinstall might work for me, because now I effectively don't have reliable backup protection from this product.
Please help me and others, I will need to consider other backup options very soon if we can't get this to work.
Thanks,
Bob Stark
