Hello,
Last year I was having a problem using a customized Norton Ghost 12.0 recovery disk to revocer my computer. There are a bunch of posts here. At the time I was also having a problem with Vista Home Premium (new computer). My solution was to re-install the original Vista, then I was able to use the custom recovery disk to load a recovery point set. Obviously, this is time -consuming and not optimal. Well, I had an issue with some malware and again tried to use the recovery disk - same problem - BSOD. I began to think maybe it was just Ghost 12.0 didn't really like Vista, so I bought Ghost 14.0 and installed today. I went throught he processes to create a custom recovery disk, which went smoothly. However at the point where I tested this disk to boot, I am having the same problem with Ghost 14.0 as I had with 12.0.
At the BSOD I get STOP: 0x0000000A (0xc51D918E,0x00000002,0x00000000,0x8B0BA8D7). Everything is fine in Device Manager, system is clean with no known problems. I would really appreciate some guidance on what I can do here. I love the product's capabilities, but I have now twice had to go through a re-install of Vista before I can get the system to boot from the recovery disk.
Thanks,
