Alright, so I am at my wits end with Norton. I got Norton Anti-virus with Anti-spyware 2009 a few months ago but a week after I installed it, the live updates stopped working. It says: "Unable to connect to Norton LiveUpdate server. Please check your internet connection." Well, it's obvious that my internet is working. There is no firewall blocking it. There are no other anti-virus programs blocking it. It gives me an X right on "check for updates" and there is no "view summary" button to click on. I try to connect to one-click support, but that too doesn't work. Then it tells me to try and connect to Norton's Technical Support Knowledge Base, and this leads me to a page that tells me I don't have flash player 10 (which I do) and it says: "Click the go to support button below and we'll install it for you," except that the "go to support" button is unclickable
So after 45 days of seeing that big red "X" and "At risk," I uninstalled and reinstalled it, which seemed to work, but only for a weeks, then the same problem started up again
Help, I'm so fed up
The error code is: 8921,229. And I use Windows Vista.
