It looks like the system for sending the email confirmations to activate new accounts is broken. When I go through the process, I'm able to successfully (but nominally) create the account. At that point, I'm told that I'll receive an email with a link to activate the acount, but it never arrives. (It's been over 12 hours now.) And yes, yes, I've checked my spam folder, etc.
When I try to log in to the account anyway, the attempt fails because it's not activated yet, but I'm offered the chance to have the activation email resent to me. However, when I say OK, I get a briefly visible error message that the email "was not sent", but no explanation of why not, before the popup dialog automatically closes.
If a Norton representative sees this, could you please let your engineering staff know that your confirmation email system for new Safe Web accounts is probably broken?
Thanks.
