Downloaded the Norton Ghost 14 trial and gave it a try. One of the things we absolutely positively had to test and make sure worked was backing up to the network and doing a bare bones recovery from the network.
Unfortunately the trial does not contain and ISO image and the option to create one is grayed out. To make matters worse I found this comment in another thread: (can't figure out how to quote properly here)
The Norton Ghost 14 Trial does not include the Recovery Disk ISO. This is available to customers who purchase the full version. Thanks!

So this leaves me unable to evaluate this product. Having been burned too many times in the past if a vendor cannot prove that a product works as documented we simply do not purchase. How can I recommend purchasing this product for a dozen computers without knowing if it will actually work?
