Unable to install existing Norton Internet Security subscription on new computer

I bought a new laptop which includes a 60 day trial of Norton Internet Security. I already have a subscription that I renewed in October, 2010 and downloaded on my old computer. On my account page under products it says I have downloads for 2 more computers. The first time I downloaded the installation files on my new computer it finished the installation and I entered the original product key, which it accepted. When I open up the Norton Internet Security software, it still says I only have 53 days remaining. On my accounts page it says I still have downloads for 2 computers.  How do I get my new computer to use my exsisting subscription?

Thanks

Which norton product are you using? Do you bought 3 pc license?

From what you say it is clear that you purchases a 3 PC license in Oct 2010 and your mynorton account is probably saying "Remaining Activations 2 PCs"

You should have a Renew button on the main User Interface at the bottom under Subscription status. This will bring up a windows to allow you to enter your previous key.

If that does not work then it may be best to uninstall NIS, use Norton Removal Tool, reboot, and install NIS directly from the download from norton.com/nis11.

Worked like a charm. Many thanks!
