I am having an issue with one of my Vista machines trying to reinstall NAV 2009. This machine was running NAV 2009 until December last year and then wouldn't enable. Have tried reinstalling several times and have followed every instruction/suggestion i could find on this forum and from Symantec's knowledge base with no success.
I haverun the removal tool (sometimes twice) with reboot each time. Have tried installing from the CD (10 user disc), and from the download version you can get from symantec's site. Have tried installing with regular bootup, clean boot up, and safeboot and none have worked. I'm starting to get super frustrated with this program.
Each time it seems to install, get virus definitions, get update, install update/drivers then starts to create an error log and uninstalls itself.
what else can i do???????
