I have spent most of this afternoon attempting to install NIS 2012 on my Asus netbook computer. Other posts on this forum did not seem to address my problem. I had assumed this would be a simple procedure. Am currently depending on something called 'Kapersky'.
Instructions failed. Repeatedly recycled from website to website to no avail.'Nathan The Virtual' was of no help.
Attempting to install on Win XP from Win 7. This OS difference should not matter.
I have my product key and original install disk.
As my subscription expire in les than 1 month, rapid solution to this problem is crucial. I still have the email from Norton confirming June 12, 2012 as expiry date.
Was dissatisfied with McAfee; perhaps I should just go with a free antivirus software.
Any (prompt) solutions to my difficulty would be appreciated.,
