Unable to install Norton Family

I was prompted with the following message even though the pop-up window said Norton Family was installed succesfully.

 

"Norton Family is not installed on any of the devices associated with this account."

 

Please help!!

1) I don't think Norton Family is installed successfully on my PC even though the pop-up window is giving a message that the installation was successful. There is no Norton Family icon in the system tray.

 

2) There is no device listed but there is a message "Wait! Did you know that XXX is not currently assigned to a computer? Click here to download and installed Norton Family ....". I tried to download and to re-install Norton Family, I always get a pop-up window saying that the installation was successful which I don't think the installation indeed was successful.

 

I'm using Window 7 Professional. Is there an executable that I can download and run directly on my PC to install Norton Family.

same problem I think.  keeps telling me "Click Retry to continue your install"  but never finishes install, just keeps telling me to "Retry"
