Issue abstract: Will not install on 1 out of 3 Android devices

Detailed description: I have installed on Windows. I have a phone and two Android tablets. When I try to install on tablet 1 I get the option to install on phone and tablet 2 but not tablet 1 which is the one I am using. Any suggestions?

Product & version number:

OS details:

What is the error message you are seeing?

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:

Hey, I had a similar issue before, try going to the Play Store on tablet 1 directly and search for the Norton app there instead of pushing the install from another device. Also, make sure that tablet 1 is using the same Google account. Sometimes it just doesn’t show up as an option otherwise. Hope that helps!

What Android version is on the device that will not allow the 360 installation? You need at least Android 10.

Do you get any error message when you try to install

Is your subscription purchased directly from Norton, or from the Google Play Store?

I am having same problem of installing Norton 360 Mobile on my Samsung Galaxy S24. This has been happening and I have reached out to Norton support 3 times in the last 10 days. Each time it was escalated to Level 2 or 3 support and I have received emails with suggestions but nothing changes. I still cant get the app installed. Norton support tried to call me but the phone call was blocked by my Xfinity Medium spam filter which I have subsequently removed. I called back but Norton Level 1 support could not connect me to Level 2 or 3 support saying they would call me back but no calls have been received to date. I would upload the screenshot errors but I get the “New Users cannot upload attachments”
This is all very frustrating!!!

I think that is it. I had not realiseed how old the tablet is. It is running Android 8 and will not update from that.

Thank you everyone for suggestions.

I have the exact same issue. I have 2 s21s and it won’t work on either. I downloaded and activated on my s9 with no issues

What Android version is on your S21s? Are you also seeing the Cannot connect to server message?

See if the information in this Norton Support article is of any help.
Message: “Server error” appears while installing or setting up your Norton 360 mobile app

changing to data got me past the can’t connect error, thanks. Now I’m not receiving the verification text

Just be aware that if you have to uninstall Norton for any reason, you will not be able to reinstall the app.

What verification text? Are you talking about the 2 factor authentication for your Norton Account?
