Unable to log in to account

I have the same issue, I now appear to have two accounts with the same email address having gone through the create account process after numerous attempts to reset my password. I have 360 installed and am able to send download links. Even my login for this forum is from my old credentials. Any help gratefully received Norton?

I have the same problem. I am a 20-year subscriber to many Symantec products. I have a current NIS license with about one month to go, including 10 licenses, 5 of which are in use. I tried to log in to my account yesterday to confirm the active licenses and check on renewal. The password wouldn't work, though I know it’s right since it was written down and hadn't changed in years. I reset password 2Xs thru the day.  It sent me password resets to my correct account email and confirmed password changes were made.  But, I still couldn't access my account. My current subscription is active and shows the number of days left on all devices. I have the order number and license key for the purchase I made through Amazon last year.  After an hour waiting on hold last night and more than 45 minutes talking to support, I was told I don't have an account. They could not find my email address, any record of my many years of subscriptions, and essentially told me I had to buy a new license and start over. I offered screen shots of my current installs, my Amazon order number, the license key.  They said they can't find Amazon order. Yet, I can see it on Amazon site and the various other Norton products I’ve bought over the years. They said there was nothing they could do. I’m sympathetic to the COVID staffing shortage of course, but this is nuts.  I asked for a supervisor, and was told one would call me back, which never happened of course.  To access this forum tonight, I had to create a new account with new email and password.   My old posts don’t seem to exist.

In the course of the looking at my current install, I figured out my NIS premium was upgraded to 22.20.1.69 and Norton renewal price is 5xs my purchase of last year’s renewal to get the 10 licenses.  Whatever happened with the forced upgrade, it has toasted my credentials.  I feel like I’ve been erased.  Being treated as a stranger and a liar last night was absurd. Having spent 3.5-4 hours yesterday and today so far adds insult to injury. That I would have to start over with uninstall and reinstalls with new licenses on 5 machines is worse.

Oddly enough, I am still able to invite another computer to install using my current license by using prompt in the program on my computer.  I also could probably use last year’s license with this new account, but if I do, I’m sure they’ll be no going back, and my history will certainly be lost.

I hope they figure this out soon.  I’ve got 30 days on this this subscription left.

Shame on you Norton/Lifelock

Here the same problem. I would like to install Norton on my second PC and it's not possible to log in to my account.

Also have reset the password several times and it's not working.

So you are not alone and I hope there will be a solution fast.

That was going to be another suggestion. When you are able to contact Norton again, you can ask for a refund of the automatic renewal.

 

Peterweb, thanks for your response. In the interest of expediency I purchased another licence on the new account. Depressingly it was half the price of my renewal. I will try and resolve matters when the world returns to normal.

I'm having a similar problem. After renewing my Norton Security Deluxe license and reinstalling it, I can neither login via app on Windows or Android. I can only login on the browser.

The screenshot of the error is below:

Anybody else experiencing the same thing?
