Unable to Manage device via Norton Mobile Security website

Hi,

I have installed Norton Security (Via Google Play) on my Android device and upgraded to the full version to reap the benefits of its features. I can see my mobile device under my Norton Management account. If I then click on 'Manage your Anti-Theft features', a new webpage opens which directs me to the Norton Mobile Security site. Unfortunately nothing shows under 'Choose a Device to manage' and I'm unsure on how to fix this....

Any help would be greatly appreacited.

Thanks

M

Same problem with me :frowning:

Hi mshk.

Welcome to the Norton Community Forums. :smileyhappy:

Did you not log on to mobilesecurity.norton.com when you upgraded and registered your version of NMS?

Whatever the answer, can you try logging on to that site (it needs the email address you use with Norton and your Norton password) and then see if it shows your device.

I am just wondering if there is any chance that when you registered your version of NMS you used a different email address or password from the one you normally use with your Norton account...

I look forward to hearing back from you, or Shubham41.

Hi,

Yes I did log in to mobilesecurity.norton.com after registering the product and no devices are being listed under 'Choose a Device to Manage'. Although, logging in to the Norton Management website using the same email address displays the device successfully.

The email address I used to sign in to the Norton Mobile Security website (and Norton Management) is the same as the one listed in the 'About' of the Norton Mobile Security app on my Android device. So we could rule out the possibility of using different email addresses in this case.

Any clues/workaround to this please? As it currently stands, I can't use one of the most important features of this product, Norton Anti-Theft.

Thanks

mskh

Hi mskh

Have you tried to uninstall Norton Mobile Security (NMS) then with a fresh install

download and install NMS from Google Play and swipe thru to the sign in step and

use your Norton Account details again to activate and register the NMS app.

Then sign in to the NMS website https://mobilesecurity.norton.com/  again and see

if your device has registered there to manage and use the anti-theft features that

you wish to use.

Cheers. :smileywink:

Hi,

Yes, I have explored that option (more than once actually) yet with no luck, still no devices are being listed...

Thanks

Hi mskh

There is the option of chatting with the Norton Support Live Chat

staff for free via the web 24/7.

This sounds like a strange account issue that you have for the paid

version of NMS.

You can click on the link below for Norton Support Live Chat -

www.norton.com/chat

Explain your issue to the freindly staff and hopefully they can resolve

your registration issue with NMS.

Cheers. :smileywink:

Sorry to be a pain but I've also tried that yesterday and the chat session is blank and I can't seem to get connected to any of the support representatives...

Screenshot attached.

It seems I'm getting nowhere with this...

Hi mskh

You are not being a pain at all, we will hopefully get to the bottom of these

issues and get NMS working properly for you.

I have gone ahead and contacted the Norton Team and asked for some

assistance with this thread and the issues that you have.

With the Norton Support Chat issue you have where it appears to be a

blank box could you try using another browser other than Chrome.?

Perhaps try Internet Explorer browser or Firefox if you have that installed.

Cheers. :smileywink:

Hi mskh,

I have sent you a Private Message ( PM.gif ). Please take a look at it when time permits.

Thanks!
