I'm using NIS 2011 with Windows 7.
My NIS is set to ask me what to do every time a new program wants to access the network/Internet. If I choose to enter a manual rule from the dialog that shows, I could then enter all the settings, but when I click the Finish button, the original dialog pops up again asking me which action to take as if no rule was entered. If I try to enter another manual rule, I can't save it because I am told that an identical rule already exists. If I cancel entering this new rule, I go back to the original dialog. The only way I could get passed this is to select a predefined option from the dropdown list.
I also tried entering a manual rule from the program rules list, but the next time I open the program, I have the same problem. I get a message as if no rules already existed.
What am I missing here?
