Hello,
I am posting here as a last resort as I have been unable to use any of the official steps for resolution recommended by Symantec/Norton.
Norton Toolbar/SafeWeb incorrectly flag neosmart.net as a malicious site due to a file that was previously included in the virus definition updates as a false positive. It has since been whitelisted by Norton (False Positive submission number 3844084) and yet all access to neosmart.net is intercepted and blocked by the Norton toolbar.
I have attempted to file a dispute via the online dispute tool, but even after adding both the meta tag to the site homepage and uploading the nortonsw file to the root of the domain and verifying the existence and accessibility of both, I have been unable to get the online tool to detect their presence or acknowledge my ownership of the domain. As such, I have been unable to file a dispute and mark the site for review.
As the site has been incorrectly blocked for a month now (since August 4th 2015) and our previous emails to the safe web team via the feedback form on the ownership verification page have gone unanswered, I'm posting here as a last measure in hopes of getting the attention of the persons responsible for flagging sites for review. We'd kindly appreciate any advice or direction on the matter, as our site's traffic has suffered as a result over the past month.
Thank you kindly.
