I am unable to verify site ownership of my website, gemvisionstore.com, because I created it through GoDaddy's Quick Shopping Cart. I do not have access to upload a file, nor is there any way to add meta tags. How can I get my site verified?
I just launched the new store today and several of our customers have reported that Norton Internet Security is blocking the website. I really need to get this fixed right away. Please help!
Thanks!

Please try to follow the instructions in this site. If you continue to have a problem, please let us know. NIS 2011, I don't believe would block the site if it is unverified. It would block it if it contained malware though. Please make sure that your site doesn't contain any malware in it.
If you are still having a problem, I will notify someone on the safe web dept. Thanks.
I was trying to verify site ownership on the Safe Web Site that you provided a link to.
There is no malware on the website, so I am trying to use the Safe Web site to get my site re-evaluated, but I need to verify site ownership first, and I can't do that because neither of the methods are possible for me. (See first post)
Hello Britni,
If you already registered for a Safe Web account and have received the code, you have 2 options:
- Add just the 128 character code to your keywords tag.
- Place just the 128 character code as small font text on the bottom of your home page.
Once that is done, let us know and we'll notify the Safe Web Team.
I was able to verify using just the code. Thank you very much.
