Wandering in the history log in NIS 2010 I have noticed following entry:
This entry occurs every time I am shutting down my computer. There are no other instances when the error emerges. NIS 2010 works like a charm so I am not so bothered about the entry but I am rather curious what's going on.
This is nothing to worry about - I have the same entry in my NIS history. Please read SendOfJive's post at the link below, it explains why Norton logs such occurrences:
services.exe, according to the Process Library, is a process essential to the Windows OS (I have copied the below for you from the Process Library entry): services.exe is a part of the Microsoft Windows Operating System and manages the operation of starting and stopping services. This process also deals with the automatic starting of services during the computers boot-up and the stopping of services during shut-down. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.\r
