I know this topic has been raised before but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.
I'm running Norton 360 on Windows 7. When using any web browser (WE or Chrome) every five mins my internet crashes and my router loses connectivity for 2-3 mins. It's driving me crazy!
My investigation has narrowed the timing of these crashes to Norton's medium level severity issue logged under 'Norton Product Tamper Protection', 'Unauthorized Access Blocked (Access Process Data). The actor every time is C:\windows\system32\conhost.exe
Each time the outcome is Terminal Session 1.
Can anyone explain why the outcome is always to kill my internet? Is there a way to avoid the affect this issue is having on my internet router?
Everywhere I read it appears I shouldn't remove the exe file and I should ignore the issue log as it is common and not malware. Is there a solution to my internet issues?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
