Hello,

Every time I turn my pc on and check my Security History i see this :

medium  unauthorized access blocked

actor: C:\\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\Services.EXE

target: C:\Program Files\ Norton AntiVirus\Engine\18.6.0.29\ccsvchst.exe

or sometimes thismessage

medium Unauthorized acces blocked (set Regietry Secuirity key)

Actor: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32

Target:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CrrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_BHDRVX86\0000\Control\

Is this harmfull?

I've done serval full system scans but found no risks

alright thats explains something but is this also related to the other message i posted about?

thanks for responding btw =)

Hi Matoest,

Welcome to the Norton Community. Neither of these events are anything to be concerned about. Both are related to Norton product Tamper Protection events and both are just indications that Norton is blocking access from unauthorized access.

In general it is not necessary to look through the Norton events unless you are having problems or want to find something very specific. Many of these events are somewhat cryptic and make something "appear" bad when it really isn't.

If there were to be an actual problem, Norton would alert you to it.

I also have that very same entry on my system.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.

Allen

alright thanks alot =)
