I am so disgusted that I can not even put into words the feelings I have towards the Norton Company.
I had a pop up that suggested I may have a virus that could possibly effect my computer. I lived with this pop up for several months because it wasn't a big deal at the time. Eventually I decided to purchase Norton Antivirus and address the pop up and get protected. I purchased it online ORDER NUMBER {removed from public post, but still on file} and they deducted the 112.00 from my credit card.
The download did not work and my computer encountered the same pop up and computer said my Norton Protection had expired. I could not get it to work but they took my money. Eventually I got ahold of tech support that cost me an additional 125.00 dollars which was debited from my credit card and they remotely accessed my computer to get rid of the virus but it made it 10000000 times worse. There were thousands of pop up all over my computer. This went on for a week and Norton could not fix the problem yet they took my money. That computer was eventually unable to even connect to interent. I AM USING AN OLD LAPTOP AT THIS TIME.
Norton pple told me that it was an internet provider issue since I was unable to connect so I called my provider and was charged another 100.00 for them to come to my Business to fix it and when they got here they said it was not an issue with their service but rather something was done to my computer that made it impossible to connect. I finally called in a computer expert and paid him over 100.00 to come to my business and fix the problem. HE was unable to fix it because the damage was so extensive he had never seen anything like it in his 20 years of computer fixing.
Not only did I lose thousands of dollars with Business dealings because EFT's could not be run due to lack of internet but hundreds of dollars were spent on trying to fix a problem that NORTON made.

I've spent hours upon hours on hold trying to contact someone to refund my money since they ruined my computer. Oh yeah, the best part of all this, they deleted (lost) ALL my documents and pictures. Years worth of documuments were lost and can not be recovered. I was never warned that could happen so I have no way of recoevery all the lost family photos and all the work fromthe last 2 years of my Business.
I am now starting from scratch. Norton has ruined my Business for the last two weeks and now I cant even get anyone to refund all the money they took from me. I paid them to destroy my computer (Business).
