I recently upgraded from the basic to the premier edition of Norton 360 for three computers. On the second computer, it looks like all of the software has been downloaded, but the installation is stuck in some loop. I left my computer on all night while I slept, and the download manager pop-up is still running -- says "Installing" with a yellow progress bar animation. So it's now been probably close to 10 hours with no apparent progress.
I've restarted my computer a couple times, and when I opened the download manager it was still the same. So I tried to uninstall Norton 360 Premier Edition from the Control Panel. That required another restart. But after restarting again, the program was still there. I opened download manager again, and it's still exactly the same. I cannot find any other open windows or agreements to accept.
Now it appears I cannot remove the program, and also cannot complete the install. I'm just stuck.
Hi,
After running the Norton Removal Tool you could try downloading N360 Premium Edition directly from www.norton.com/n360p_20
