I now want this program off my computer but everytime I attempt to uninstall it via control panel it wants a password. Funny since I never used a password to install it! The removal tool from the download center doesn't work either for some reason. Someone please help me get this program off my PC!
Hi tlake,
If you've got a prebuilt package of SCS from USAF IT, then there is a high chance that they have set a password to prevent uninstallation of the software. You'd have to talk to whoever you got the software from in the IT department to check this.
If, however, it is just the default installation files there is a default password, I believe, of "symantec" without the quotes.
This KB doc should cover it.

James B YOU’RE THE MAN! the password of “symantec” did the trick! Beers on me if we ever meet! Thanks for the help.
You're welcome tlake. Glad it worked. Now you have got me thinking of beer though!
