I am at the moment uninstalling N360 premier from this laptop in order to install it on a anew one. I tried using the norton removal tool however it seems it is not responding.
I have backed up my identity safe, I was wondering whether it would be ok if used the application for uninstallation in the control panel??
That's certainly OK; in fact it's really where you should start anyhow. Once you have done so, reboot your machine and try running the Removal Tool again, just to sweep out any "digital debris." But this is less critical unless you're installing another security product on the old laptop to replace it, so I wouldn't sweat it if it still won't run.
Let us know how it works out. Note that you may also want to contact Norton's Live Chat customer service, to reclaim that "used" installation to your license in case you want to use your Norton on additional machines in the future.
It is already done! Impressive the identity has been now loaded on my new laptop and it seems to be working perfectly. Am transferring my data from the old lap top to the new one now!
