I just purchased a new Toshiba laptop with windows 7 and it has norton already on it although I have not activated it. My problem is I bought the laptop so I could get Dish Internet with internet provider WildBlue and my 18 month contract gives me the virus protection of F-secure free and I am trying to install it. F-secure has tried uninstalling the norton but has not been successful in doing this. I do not want to use Norton since it is only a 60 day trial; and would like to remove it totally in hopes then I can get the F-secure installed. How do I uninstall the unactivated Norton from my new laptop without screwing things up?
