After our Christmas dinner, I slowly made my way to my PC to install the latest Norton Internet Security (Before Christmas dinner, I performed a clean install of Windows 7-64 bit) . I entered the Product Key, pressed enter, and it failed. Well, that's a common error. So as I slowly and carefully entered all 36 alphanumeric characters, I noticed that the "A" key did not register. That is, the letter A. I tried again by removing the disk and deleting all traces of my previous install attempts. No matter what I tried, I could not enter "A." Now, the letter A appears in my Product key four times. So what am I to do? Obviously, it is not my keyboard, because as I previously demonstrated, I can type the letter "A" as much as I want - see: AaAAaaaaaaAaAAAaaAAAA. But for some reason, no A will appear in the product key.
Does anyone have an idea why I cannot enter A into the product key. Better yet, what do I do now other than return to fry's and trade Norton in for Kaspersky? I don't think Kasperksky's security suite fails at the product key?
