I am using Norton Safety Minder 2.1.0.37 with Windows XP Media Edition. My problem is my unmonitored account is being restricted by the settings I have established for my daughter’s account. I am even receiving notification of my activities being logged against her account. This happens whenever my daughter has logged on to the computer, and I subsequently switch user and log on to my account. My daughter doesn’t even have to access the Internet and I am blocked. Even if my daughter logs off and then I log on, the restrictions apply. My current workaround is to shut down the computer! What’s the fix?
The only monitored account is my daughter's. She logs on to the computer with her own username. All other accounts are password-protected and show as unmonitored.
Hi bibigun,
Could you check out the thread below and see if it's similar to what you are experiencing? Do you only experience this when your daughter's account is also logged in?
Thanks,
Katie
