Unnecessary VPN notifications in/out of wifi/cellular

Hello all.

Recently I’ve been receiving Android notifications every time I leave the house or if cell service fails and revives. The notification is intrusive and unnecessary. I don’t want to turn off notifications as the security notifications like brute force attacks on my wifi are useful. Norton won’t allow what notifications to choose to notify or discard. Every time I leave the house for work, I get a VPN notification. Everytime I get home, I get a VPN notification. Every time I go in and out of cell service, I get a VPN notification. Annoying isn’t it?

I would like to set my Norton 360 for Android to not notify my of automatic VPN changes but still notify me if there is an active threat to my network such as a brute force attempt on my wifi.

Is there any solution?

The only thing I can see is to turn off notifications for Network Protection in the 360 Settings. From the 360 interface tap on Account at the bottom right then tap on Settings > Notifications. There are two settings in the Network protection section. Try turning off one at a time and test. See if one of these achieves what you want.
