Hi, sorry if this is a typical newbie question but any advice welcome!

My NIS is reporting Unresolved Security Risks & appears unable to remove them (2 x Trojan Horses), I have also tried the power eraser without success & the Bootable recovery disk option.

Hi I am a new user of Norton and have just purchased Norton 360 v3.  The system ran a scan on my PC and an external hard drive I had attached.  It reported to high risk alerts on a file in two compressed folders. The options allowed were to delete or send to Symantec.  I do not wish to lose the date in the folders and wish to disconnect and deal with the problem files on a separate machine, so as not to lose all the info in the folders.  However I cannot know find the folders.  I have checked the quarantine log and they are not present. Can anyone help please

Hi Suzanne,

Norton 360 will be able to detect the threats in any external drive, but it will not able to remove or delete it after scan. That is why those threats left as unresolved. That is how the product works.

Now if you need to find out the location where these threats are located, connect the external drive to your computer, right-click on the external drive and then run a scan using Norton 360. When your Norton 360 detects these threats, it will give you a "details" tab. There you can find the location.

Also, what is the Name of the Threats Detected?
