I have scheduled Norton Antivirus to run a full scan scheduled once every week. However, on more or less a daily basis the antivirus software launches a ‘background scan’, which causes my PC to slow down. I’ve checked through the settings and cannot turn off this unscheduled scan. Please advise the how I can fix the problem.
