Norton started manoeuvres Sunday Lunch Time. I managed to sort all the problems out, by Tuesday Teatime. Norton emailed me Wednesday, 05.32am, regarding the migration. Not good !
I lost count of the ‘Apply Now’ reboots. Somewhere near x20, for x3-machines.
I don’t have any V24.
If you had to get the foul-ups sorted professionally, it’d cost you a fortune.
I can only hypothesise that the ‘Gen Digital’ Business Plan, is to lose all of the customers ?
I noticed that 1-device showed N360 at the local-end and NS at the distant-end.
So, I uninstalled the local-end (add/remove), and ran RNR uninstall-only.
Deleted the offending NS licence at the remote-end.
Reloaded the whole product, as new software.
An indeterminate amount of LiveUpdate, lost count.
Both ends now indicate N360. v22.24.8.36
Fully migrated to N360. Hurrah !
What amuses me, will I get a subsequent email. Confirming my migration to N360 Deluxe, again ?
As a retiree, it’s something to keep the brain-cells bouncing around.Equally,a few days diversion, at the wrong time in life, is a waste.
