I decided to have a look at renewing now, with 3months left on the current N360 product.
I found a Norton Security Deluxe Product Key, dated 27/11/2015, from the free migration to N360 period.
WILL IT STILL WORK, AS IT’S SO OLD Let’s give it a punt !
The ‘CHAT NOW‘ couldn’t get it’s head around using a product key on a different product.
Started afresh, with ‘PHONE SUPPORT‘. I requested speaking to a ‘Customer Support Agent’; which eventually connected and the interaction began. Requesting 365/366-days added to the 3months on another product, is possible; as long as the ‘product key‘ is proven to be valid.
Phonetic Alphabet and ping-ponging email addresses and mutual confirmation of both actors.The 25-character Activation Code, the unused 365/366-days is now added to my N360. Confirmed on the Device UI and Online Account. It’s impressive; but, let’s see when FEB/2026 comes around, if I’m pinged with a ‘Renewal Notification’.
