As I mentioned before in my other thread, I keep getting alot of notifications about communications being blocked.
Unused port blocking has blocked communications. Inbound TCP connection from [IP address], local service port [port number]
I read a couple of posts on the forums and I figure this is what NIS does when a computer is trying to access another computer. Is this right?
So if the IP address is trying to access my computer, then someone is trying to hack my computer right??
Here are my 2 questions:
1. Is there anyway to block the offending IP address no matter if NIS blocks them as well?
2. If my NIS subscription expired, would these attacking IP address have access to my computer??
