Apparently, on the 28th. of April 2021, my automatic annual payment for Norton 360 for 10 machines was upgraded to 360 Platinum for 20 machines and my bank account VISA charged with £124:99 instead of the rate for Norton 360. I did not request this upgrade and reported it as a fraudulent charge to my bank. Norton insist that I authorised this and I am now out of pocket as a result. In addition I am receiving calls from the number +1 (800) 745-6034, claiming to be Norton Support and quoting the Case number I was given by Support . Each time the caller sounds either Nigerian or Indian and is insistent that I pay the amount requested. I have since blocked that number. I have removed Norton 360 from most of my machines however, I see from my account status that, according to Norton I am running 360 Platinum. This is not the case and never has been.
I am in the process of removing Norton 360 from my Macs and will definitely not be renewing any of my Norton Products or recommending it to any of my friends and associates.
