Update required for Security Response

Can someone give me an update on Security Response which I submitted on August 11. The automated response I received was pretty meaningless and gave me no insight into what was happening. The message I submitted was as follows:

Over the past couple of months I've had three instances of viruses being detected by NIS. Each time the virus has been in a .tmp file in a folder off c:\\programdata\\norton (for example: c:\\programdata\\norton\\{0c55c096-0f1d-4f28-aaa2-85ef591126e7}\\nis_21.1.0.18\\cmnclnt\\00001642.tmp). First it was the W32.Licum virus then Infostealer and most recently Downloader. The odd thing is that NIS reports each virus has having very few users and being very new when in fact neither is true. My PC has been running fine and I havent noticed any symptoms so the first I knew about it was when a NIS dialog window popped up saying my PC needed to be rebooted. Running Windows 8 and currently running NIS 21.5.0.19. Exports of each virus is attached (in a zip file).

I have today received another report from NIS saying that it's found the Spyware.Ardakey virus in file c:\\programdata\\norton\\{0c55c096-0f1d-4f28-aaa2-85ef591126e7}\\nis_21.1.0.18\\cmnclnt\\00022977.tmp so I'm really curious as to what's going on.

I should add that I am also running Malwarebytes v2.0.2.1012.

I'd be grateful for some feedback.

Thanks
