I had NIS. A strange icon appeared a few days ago, replacing the familiar Norton icon so I created this thread: https://community.norton.com/en/forums/norton-icon-bottom-tool-bar-has-changed-redirection-another-web-address
To cut a long story short, I was delighted to find (by chance) that I could upgrade my NIS to Norton Security Standard. I went to My Account>Renew Now. And there I found that Norton have some (hidden) loyalty rewards for existing customers, which meant I could renew and upgrade to NS Standard now through to Dec 2017 with added benefits such as 'up to 10 devices'. Delighted with this I suggested that Norton should do more to tell existing customers about these loyalty rewards in this thread: https://community.norton.com/en/forums/norton-must-do-better-customer-loyalty-benefits-products
During my latest reply there, I needed to check the version number of my new enhanced product and what a mess I've found.
(1) My Account>Help>About shows that I have Norton Security 22.7.0.76. (Neither Snip nor Print Screen works on that.)
(2) Download Manager told me it was installing Norton Security with Backup:
(3) My Account>Order History says I have Norton Security Premium:
and (4) my order confirmation says I've bough Norton Security Premium:
So what product has been installed, why are there these discrepancies and what do I have to do now to ensure that I have indeed got Norton Security Premium?
Can someone please escalate this for me? TIA
