Hello All,
My Samsung A33 5g has just been upgraded to Android 13 & will not load Norton 360, just immediately returns with a Yellow Screen & back to the App Icon. Norton VPN loaded by itself works fine with no issues.
I have tried Clearing the Cache several times/running the Repair Mode several times/Uninstalling & Reinstalling several times all from Google Playstore/Nothing needs upgrading/Checked Battery Status etc & have tried just about everything that has been recommended on this Forum & any other with similar issues.
To me being a Layman as everything started after this upgrade & up until then has been 100% happy with Norton 360 I would suspect Samsung but it could be a mismatch with Norton as well?
Anybody having similar Issues & can help please?
That is good news. Thanks for posting back.
Next I would suggest contacting Norton Support to see if they have more suggestions. My Android tablet is stuck on Android 9, so I cannot test. They may also have other reports of a similar issue. www.norton.com/contactcs If using the chat function, as soon as you can enter any information, enter "agent please". That will get you out of the chat bot and connected to a human.
Well after playing with the Phone once again it seems that there may have been a problem with the SSID as kept getting spurrious messages about this? As usual I have no idea what I did but the System is now stable once again & Norton 360 is 100% happy again!?
Life is not easy!
Thankyou for your reply.
Battery Optimisations turned off for Norton 360
Norton 360 Enabled
Have Restarted/Shutdown the Device more times than I care to remember since upgrade - No Difference unfortunately.
If it was a PC you would swear that the program had crashed as the screen goes yellow & then collapses back to the initial Norton App Icon!
You mention checking Battery Status. Are you referring to battery optimisations? Check that those are turned off for the 360 app.
Also check in Android Settings > Accessibility for Installed Services. Be sure the Norton 360 service is enabled.
Have you restarted the device since the OS upgrade?
