My current subscription expires in about 30 days. I’m thinking about upgrading to the current NIS product.
I have a couple of questions before I decide on upgrading.
Does the current NIS version include the past fixes for issues such as the ‘awaking from sleep’ issue? I recall reading about some workaround fixes involving removing (or disabling) a Norton task in Win Task Scheduler. The Sleep issue is a priority for my PC’s.
This question involves a ‘rollback’ scenario via HDD (vs uninstalling NIS, then re-installing N360):
If I upgrade to NIS, my online Norton Acct will see that my upgraded OS HDD is running the new product NIS vs N360. If I encounter issues where I’d want to rollback to my current N360 product via a Cloned HDD (or restoring from a full-HDD Image), will that work?
For example, since my online Norton Acct will have been updated to reflect my NIS install from N360, if I remove my upgraded (NIS) OS HDD and install my Cloned HDD (with N360), will my Cloned HDD run with N360?
Another way of asking this is:
Do our online Norton Accts prioritize our OS HDD’s and read our Norton AV version and revert accordingly at our online Norton Acct page data or does it work the other way with a scenario where I install my Cloned HDD with N360 and Norton won’t allow me to run the previous version due to the conflict with my online Acct which reflects the upgrade to NIS?
