Upgrading from NIS 2006 to NIS 2009

Hi everyone.

For the past two years, I have been using NIS 2006 as it came preinstalled on my HP/Compaq PC. Although it has served me very well, I feel it might be time to consider saying adios to it and upgrade to NIS 2009.

From the ratings, NIS 2009 seems to be the best of the bunch. And it seems to be cheaper than paying $49.99 to renew NIS 2006 for another year.

I currently have 52 days left on my suscription and if I decide to upgrade, what is the best way to do it without causing myself a lot of headaches. Is it best to remove it through add/remove programs or should I just forget that and download the Norton removal tool.

I also have internet access on this PC via Wireless LAN with a Belkin N wireless USB and was wondering if I would run into any potential problems.

Any advice, hints, tips, etc would be very helpful.

Thank you
