My subscription for NIS 2010 is about to expire and I am looking at upgrading my NIS 2010 to NIS 2011. Can anyone recommend the best way to do this? I will be purchasing a retail version of NIS 2011 (it is cheaper than the online subscription renewal) and then installing it.
My question: do I need to manually uninstall NIS 2010 before installing NIS 2011, or can I install NIS 2011 directly over NIS2010? A Norton tech guy told me that I can install NIS 2011 directly over NIS 2010 without uninstalling the latter, but I am somnewhat leary of this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
