It's 2012, and it's time to bring my PC software into the 21st century.
N360/6 is on the way. That's the ideal time to upgrade my kit.
I've two main pieces of software to upgrade, Browser and Security. I need a "best practice". Which one do you reload first, without leaving yourself open to all the nasties on the web; whilst, at the same time keeping all the plug-ins of the security functioning in the browser ?
My thoughts are:-
1. Download the latest security and tools product to the desktop.
2. Download the required browser to the desktop.
3. Disconnect the web.
4. Action the upgrade.
Question:- Which one do you upgrade first; the browser or the security ?
I'm a, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" person; but it's time for the bits and bytes, to visit the makeover clinic, and enter the modern age.
Be safe out there ! AK
